Unpaid fines that result in a Warrant

  1. Can be satisfied through the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 
  2. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit/debit card, or money order.
    • When paying with a credit/debit card, a transaction fee is charged through the payment service that the Sheriff’s Department uses.

Bail Bonds issued by Circuit Court (Judge/Court Commissioner)

  1. Bonds are an agreement to show up to your next court date and to follow the additional conditions of release.
  2. All court issued bonds must be paid to the Kewaunee County Clerk of Courts. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, except holidays. The Clerk of Courts is located at:

  1. There are three types of bonds:
  1. If the defendant fails to comply with any condition of bond, the court may enter an order declaring the bond to be forfeited.
  1. Any restitution, fines, forfeitures or costs imposed against the defendant shall be paid out of the bail without further notice.
